Welcome to Empowered Youth where the youths are inspired to be resilient & empowered through our programs and education. The youths today continue to encounter significant obstacles to their well-being and success, particularly around body image, building life skills and healthy network of peers. With Empowered Youth in their corner, they can bravely exclaim they are strong and excited to take charge of their futures.
Our programs give each child the tools and confidence they need to succeed in school; to have healthy active lifestyles; to manage money; to think critically about messages in the media; and to have life skills that will build a strong foundation. At Empowered Youth we celebrate our students’ strengths and they learn to be productive, have a sense of purpose and become contributing members of their community.
A student who joins Empowered Youth will:
- Feel good, respect themselves and embrace their body image
- Learn how to communicate effectively
- Set realistic goals and work hard to succeed
- Build confidence and a clear vision of their future
- Become more assertive at home, at school, and in their community
- Form healthy relationships & know how to make good, informed decisions
- View themselves as leaders and change makers
